Project Objective

Design a visually compelling Annual Report that highlights the mission, accomplishments, and future goals of the Communication Arts Technology Program. The report aims to engage and inform a wide audience—taxpayers, administrators, students, and potential grant partners—while promoting continued support through scholarships and funding.

Creative Strategy

  • Use student work and photography to tell the story of CATP’s impact on the community and state
  • Showcase program awards, student achievements, and faculty excellence
  • Emphasize the uniqueness of CATP, including the only Commercial Photography track in the region
  • Incorporate interviews, portraits, and original layouts to reflect the identity of the program

Key Goals

  • Inform and inspire stakeholders
  • Reinforce the value of public arts and technology education
  • Reflect the professional quality and legacy of a 50-year-old program
  • Deliver an original, full-color, high-impact design rooted in strategy and storytelling

Objective

This individual project required creating an original or re-designed product identity for a physical item of significant size. The branding system had to include packaging, a point-of-purchase display, and a magazine ad.
